On 4th October 2018, Danliris won two accolades at the Top CSR 2018 awards in Jakarta. The event was attended by more than 100 companies from across Indonesia who have been recognized for their outstanding CSR activities. Winners were judged on a number of aspects in order to win an award. These were, the implementation of ISO 26000; a clear business strategy that ‘creates shared value’; and good corporate governance — ISO 26000 is the international standard developed to help businesses effectively address and assess their CSR programs.

At the event, Danliris’s President Director, Mrs Michelle Tjokrosaputro, was awarded the Top Leader for CSR Commitment 2018, and the company won the Top CSR 2018 accolade for the Job Creation Program and Skill Enhancement (Internship, Training, Special Classes) Category. As such, Danliris prides itself in paying close attention to the wellbeing of its employees as well as the wider community. The company’s training centre for example actively encourages employees to gain new skills so that they can become well-rounded specialists in textile and garment production. Furthermore, for training and education that are not offered in-house, Danliris will provide the necessary financial support so that employees can reach their full potential.

In winning these awards, Danliris has demonstrated its longstanding commitment to corporate social responsibility initiatives. The company regularly plans, monitor, and evaluate its CSR programs to ensure that they are delivered in tangible ways. This strategy has enabled Danliris to engage in major issues in Indonesia from community welfare development to improving public infrastructure.
